Terms of Use

ROC Drilling · rocdrilling.com · Effective October 17, 2026

These terms apply to everyone who is given an account for the ROC Drilling programs (the ROC Daily Report, ROC Connect and any other program on this site, together the “Programs”). By signing in or installing any of them you agree to these terms.

1. Ownership

The Programs — including their code, design, screens, layouts, calculations, reports, documentation and the ROC Drilling name and logo — are the property of ROC Drilling and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership to you.

2. Your licence

ROC Drilling grants you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Programs for your work, through the account issued to you, for as long as that account is active.

3. What you may not do

4. Accounts and data

Accounts are issued by invitation and are personal to you. Data pulled from third-party systems (for example Pason, NOV MAX, PRIME or OneDrive) stays subject to those systems’ terms and your employer’s rules. ROC Drilling may suspend or close an account at any time, including for breach of these terms.

5. Confidentiality

The Programs, their methods and any non-public information about them are confidential. You will not disclose them to anyone outside your organisation without ROC Drilling’s written permission.

6. No warranty; limits

The Programs are provided “as is”. They support, but do not replace, your professional judgement; you remain responsible for decisions made on a rig. To the fullest extent the law allows, ROC Drilling is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the Programs.

7. Changes and termination

These terms may be updated; the current version is always at rocdrilling.com/terms. If you do not agree to a change, stop using the Programs. On termination of your account, your licence ends and you must stop using and delete any copies of the Programs in your possession.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, and the courts of Alberta have jurisdiction over any dispute.
